Beautiful Danish curved sofa or Banana sofa as the Danes call them. This sofa is a bit unusual compared to others from the era as it has a raised backrest. Resting on large saucer like legs both front and back. Most likely manufactured sometime in the late 1930s-early 1940s. On top of being very stylish also super solid and very comfortable. The sofa has been re-upholstered in recent years in a nice green wool fabric and remains in very good usable condition showing only traces of wear. While these sofas were common in the Art Deco era not many have survived the passing of time and this is a great opportunity to get to own something of great character that will make a strong statement in any room. Overall very good condition.
