1940s Danish curved sofa often referred to by the Danes as banana form sofa. This sofa has a really nice elegant lines very reminiscent of Viggo Boesen and Ludvig Pontoppidan and we love the combination of the mohair fabric with the channels in the backrest. The sofa was re-upholstered at a later point and the mohair velvet remains in very good usable condition showing only minor age wear. The padding and springs in the seat remains nice and soft yet supportive and the sofa is in overall very good condition. We are able to re-upholster the sofa in lamb’s wool or with your own fabric at a very competitive price.
