Very charming high back or wingback 1950s sofa from Denmark. The sofa is very reminiscent of Fritz Hansen's model 8112 loveseat but in this case somewhat larger and with a loose seat cushion covered in ultra suede and we are unsure of who the designer and/or maker might be. Beautiful intriguing design, however, sturdy construction raised on beechwood legs. Nice rolled armrests reminiscent of Carl Malmsten's designs. High back sofas have a strong presence about them and are hard to find. We love this one which would be amazing in the right fabric. Overall good condition with the wool fabric in good clean usable condition.
