Incredibly comfortable, exuberant, and superbly made Danish club chair, These type of chairs made at the end of the art deco area and well into the midcentury, The curved backrests and low slung proportions and block feet in beech wood clearly hint at inspiration from Viggo Boesen and the curved chairs that Slagelse Mobelvaerk was known for. The chair was likely made in the early 1940s and professionally re-upholstered in leather at a later point. The chair is sturdy and strong with spring coils in both the seat and backrest. Nice patina and minor appropriate signs of wear overall very good condition.
